One Direction will be at Z100 in New York City on March 9.
Source told HEAT: 'Harry’s been given a dressing down in recent weeks. It was noted that he’d broken away from the band a bit and, with their American tour in progress and dates in Australia to follow, the boys really need to be acting like a unit.'
Band maybe upset that Harry hangs out with Nick Grimshaw and Alexa Chung: 'especially as they felt it separated Harry from the rest of them.. The boys are set to become the biggest boyband in the world this year and it’s no time for individual egos. This was made very clear to Harry. He was told he needs to start being a team player and that’s that.'
Source told The Sun: 'Olly [Murs] wants to crack America, and who can blame him for that? The One Direction lads are going down a storm over there so their management are looking at getting them back out there as soon as possible after their current tour finishes on Friday. Olly's team are still working on a US launch date for his album, In Case You Didn't Know. The ideal time would coincide with a tour. But by attempting that he just will not be around to do the Xtra Factor audition stuff. It's quite a crucial show nowadays and can get up to three million people watching, so producers really want him to do it.'
His rep said: 'Olly's album is now starting to break big internationally and this means we have to juggle all his commitments between promoting his own album and also doing the show. We are confident that talks will continue to be productive from both sides.'
Harry is moving into his own £575,000 bachelor pad in East London, reports MTV UK: 'Harry has enjoyed his time in the One Direction apartments but feels it’s time he got his own space. He’s made loads of money and has been encouraged to invest it, rather than splash out on things. He also knows the flat will impress girls. It’s pretty special.. Harry’s new pad is amazing but the garden is the best bit. He says it’ll be perfect for summer parties and barbecues.'
